A collaboration agreement was reached with the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux (MSSS), and the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ) aimed at significantly simplifying the claims process.
This agreement, approved by Justice Catherine Piché of the Superior Court of Québec, will allow:
- Class members to benefit from diagnosis confirmation carried out by Proactio with the relevant authorities when possible;
- Estates of deceased tobacco victims to register without providing a health insurance number or medical records.
